Oracle DBA with AWS

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with AWS experience to join our dynamic team.

As a Senior Oracle DBA at our company you will play a crucial role in managing our database systems to ensure optimal performance security and reliability. Your expertise in AWS will help us leverage cloud technologies to enhance our database operations and drive innovation in our banking services.

• Design implement and manage Oracle database systems in a highavailability environment.
• Migrate and maintain database applications on AWS ensuring scalability performance and security.
• Perform database tuning backup and recovery tasks to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Develop and implement policies for database administration including disaster recovery planning and data retention.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support application development and deployment providing expert guidance on database strategies.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and best practices in database administration and cloud services recommending improvements to our systems and processes.

• Minimum 8 years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong experience in managing Oracle databases on AWS including services like RDS EC2 and S3.
• Proficient in database administration tasks such as performance tuning backup recovery and security management.
• Experience with Oracle Data Guard Oracle RAC and Oracle ASM.
• Knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Banking or financial services domain experience is preferred.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Database Specialty certifications are highly desirable.
