Supplier Quality Engineer

What youll do:

• Actively involved in new component sourcing and development
• Component drawing review and approval
• Involved in the Team Feasibility Commitment process with Purchasing Engineering and Suppliers
• Owner of Supplier Quality Project supporting APQP
• Define the Supplier Quality Project tasks with the suppliers
• Follow up completion of Supplier Quality Project tasks in terms of timing and quality for defined deliverables

What is required:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering required
• Automotive industry and/or engineering experience
• Experience in deployment and/or auditing of APQP PPAP 8D FMEA SPC VDA knowledgeable in IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
  Experience in managing projects
• Travel as needed to support any items listed above
• English speaking/writing is required
