Job Description

Overview:

The Business Development Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the sales and business development team in identifying potential growth opportunities for the organization. This role provides an invaluable learning experience for individuals seeking to gain handson experience in business development sales and market research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in market research and identifying potential clients or partners
  • Support the development of client proposals and pitch presentations
  • Conduct industry and competitor analysis to identify market trends
  • Assist in creating and implementing strategic business development initiatives
  • Participate in networking events or industry conferences
  • Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and collateral
  • Assist in maintaining CRM databases and client records
  • Support the sales team in various administrative tasks
  • Assist in lead generation and qualifying potential prospects
  • Participate in sales meetings and strategy sessions
  • Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support business growth efforts
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing campaigns
  • Assist in the evaluation of business development and sales performance
  • Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and gather feedback

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor s or Master s program in Business Marketing or a related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct market research and analysis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Basic understanding of sales principles and strategies
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated interest in business development and sales
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
