Overview:
The VT Backend role is crucial to our organization as it is responsible for developing and maintaining the serverside logic of our virtual training platform. The individual in this role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of our virtual training backend processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop robust scalable and secure backend applications using Nodejs.
- Optimize and maintain database structures to support platform functionalities and performance.
- Create and integrate APIs for seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
- Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard sensitive information.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backendrelated issues to ensure uninterrupted platform operations.
- Perform regular system upgrades and optimizations to enhance platform efficiency.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of backend applications.
- Document backend processes workflows and procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in backend development.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (e.g. 6) in backend development using Node.Js.
- Proficiency in database management and optimization.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of security principles and data protection best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve backend issues efficiently.
