Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Teach and mentor medical students residents and fellows in the field of Gastroenterology.
• Lead and conduct research in Gastroenterology contributing to the knowledge and advancement of the field.
• Provide expert clinical care to patients with Gastrointestinal disorders.
• Participate in departmental and institutional committees and activities related to Gastroenterology.
• Engage in scholarly activities including publishing research findings and presenting at conferences.
• Contribute to curriculum development and assessment for Gastroenterology education programs.
• Supervise and evaluate trainees in their clinical and research activities.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in professional development activities and maintain clinical and academic credentials.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of Gastroenterology policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or equivalent.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology.
• DM or equivalent specialty training in Gastroenterology.
• Proven track record of teaching and mentoring medical students residents and fellows.
• Demonstrated ability in conducting and publishing Gastroenterology research.
• Experience in providing expert clinical care to patients with Gastrointestinal disorders.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and scholarly activities.
