Job Description
- Use any and all precision measuring instruments, gear testing machines and methods necessary to complete and check own work assignment.
- Provide part quality information and statistics as required.
- Work with and interpret charts, tables, blueprints, formulas, sketches, verbal orders, job layouts, etc., to accomplish assigned work.
- Make preparations and adjustments as required, ensuring proper machine operation. Including monitoring coolant/oil for concentration and levels, replenishing as required.
- Detect faulty tools and take corrective action in accordance with shop practices and shop procedures.
- Make process improvement recommendations.
