We are looking for a Senior Technical Procurement Specialist (Electronics) to become an integral part of our clients procurement team.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering Supply Chain Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in technical procurement specifically in the electronics sector.
- Proven track record of successful supplier management and cost reduction initiatives.
- Strong technical knowledge of electronic components and market trends.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to form and maintain positive supplier relationships.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different departments.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers of electronic components and materials.
- Conducting cost analyses and negotiating contracts to achieve optimal terms.
- Managing the supplier qualification process and ongoing performance evaluation.
- Ensuring the timely procurement of electronic components to meet production schedules.
- Maintaining uptodate knowledge of industry trends technologies and regulatory requirements affecting electronics procurement.
- Collaborating with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to address technical and quality issues with suppliers.
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
- Preparing and presenting reports on procurement metrics and performance.
