Minimum Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
- Valid and active medical license in the state of Kentucky or eligibility to obtain.
- Strong clinical skills in psychiatric evaluation diagnosis and treatment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary treatment team environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in a psychiatric subspecialty.
- Experience with telepsychiatry.
- Demonstrated leadership in clinical settings.
- Participation in relevant professional organizations and continuous education in psychiatry.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for an average caseload of 16 patients per day.
- Lead and participate in treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize telepsychiatry as part of a hybrid work model if chosen.
- Participate in weekend call rotations with additional compensation.
