Summary:
The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the overall direction coordination implementation execution control and completion of specific assigned projects ensuring consistency with company strategy commitments and goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Effectively execute assigned projects; this includes ensuring strategic execution plans are fully developed and implemented contracts are agreed upon and adhered to communications within and external to the team are effective and approved team resources and budgets are appropriately planned and managed.
- Promote an environment of continuous improvement and employee engagement through regular communication with the team
- Manage the project schedule identifying any critical path issues and developing mitigation actions to ensure ontime delivery
- Development of effective working relationships with internal and external customers being the central point of contact
- Monitor team dynamics to ensure optimal team performance and take appropriate action to correct problems within the team stemming from miscommunication differences of opinion misaligned objectives inexperience etc.
- Establish and align the team to project goals timelines and success criteria
- Provide project forecasts for completion of equipment services cash milestones & margin
- Share knowledge & best practice across the company
- Responsible for ensuring all work is undertaken in a safe manner in line with company HSE guidelines and work is executed in line with company QMS requirements
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Architecture Science or management discipline highly preferred
- 5 years of project management construction management or project controls required. Oil & gas industry experience preferred but not require
- Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities
- Must be keen to thrive in a fastpaced rapid growth environment
- Proficiency in MS Office especially MS Excel and MS Project require
- Strong communication presentation and interpersonal skills require
- Ability to lead a multidisciplinary team including assigning responsibilities and establishing schedules for individual team members
Qualifications: Education: Engineering Degree from an EAC/ABET accredited program. E.I.T. Certification or passed FE exam preferred Experience and Skills: o Minimum of 5 years experience in engineering design and approval processes o Minimum of 2 years experience in subsea equipment design o Proficient in SolidWorks and ANSYS modeling software o Proficient with Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel, MS Project) Knowledgeable in AutoCAD 2D and Mathcad software Personal Attributes: Strong leadership and organizational skills Good communication & presentation skills, both written and oral Ability to adapt to change, when required due to the rapid response nature of business Work autonomously as well as under direction Handle multiple projects and deadlines with changing priorities
