About the Role:The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of Klorman projects within budget schedule and quality standards. This role requires handson involvement in technical issues and coordination between jobsites and the office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing commercial construction projects particularly in structural concrete and a proven track record of achieving project goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project costs weekly including labor materials equipment and subcontracting costs.
- Conduct all Klorman external and internal meetings and keep upper management informed of project status.
- Maintain and monitor project schedules in coordination with the General Superintendent and Project Superintendent.
- Oversee the completion of all projectrelated documentation including change orders RFIs and submittals.
- Manage project procurement including issuing purchase orders subcontracts and change orders.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients owners architects and subcontractors.
- Resolve conflicts and manage client expectations effectively.
- Lead project bidding buyout startup and closeout processes.
- Collaborate with the project superintendent to ensure project safety and quality standards are met.
- Delegate tasks effectively and mentor team members to enhance project efficiency.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years and maximum 22 years of experience in commercial construction projects.
- Proven track record of managing projects from start to finish.
- Experience with structural concrete projects is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelors degree in construction management or related field is preferred.
