Overview:
As an Optometrist at our practice you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive eye care services to our patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye conditions
- Provide prescriptions for eyeglasses or contact lenses
- Diagnose and manage various eye diseases and disorders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
- Offer pre and postoperative care for patients undergoing eye surgeries
- Monitor and manage vision therapy or rehabilitation programs
- Advise patients on proper eye care practices and ocular health maintenance
- Perform specialized tests to evaluate ocular health and function
- Document patient records and maintain accurate clinical notes
- Stay updated with advancements in optometric practices and technologies
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Licensure to practice optometry in the designated location
- Proven experience in conducting comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments
- Strong knowledge of ocular diseases conditions and treatment options
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools for eye health evaluation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
