CIM - Patient Access Coordinator

Position Overview/Project Details: Patient Access /Navigation (temp position onsite at Duarte City of Hope campus)

Minimum Qualifications & Experience: 5 year in patient care (inpatient or outpatient). Previous patientfacing experience required. Experiencing working with cancer patients. Experienced as interpreter fluent in English/Spanish language. Exceptional communication skills required. Bilingual in English/Spanish required as well as ability to read and write both English and Spanish. Understanding of medical terminology required. Experience with medical billing insurance finances preferred. Or applicant is a prenursing working clinical staffs or has worked at Emergency Room. BLS AED CPR certified. Great computer skills and typing great patient care and communication skills familiar with EPIC.

Minimum Education: Associated in Science (AS) degree or college graduated or enrolled in University

Location (If remote list as so): onsite at City of Hope Duarte

Schedule: 4 days/week (depends on patient load of the week) or 5 days/week (Monday through Friday) at 8:30am 5pm PST (30 minutes lunch)
