Introduction : The importance the average Asian family places on education based on the time
and percentage of income they are willing to spend on it far outweighs its importance in any other
part of the world. This is clearly been reflected in the growth of the overall higher education market
in India. With GER expected to touch 50% by the year 2035 there seems to be a huge potential
opportunity.
Challenges with Higher Education Institutions : In recent years the higher education landscape
has become increasingly competitive as universities and colleges strive to recruit and retain high
quality students. Like many serviceoriented organizations universities are facing an increasingly
competitive environment in which they must find ways to differentiate their institution and tell their
story. Increase in no. of Colleges & Universities (roughly around 900 Universities and 39K HEIs)
Increase in Student intake across all institutions leading to high competition and fight for
enrollments. The problem is further aggravated with IT Slump and Campus Placements seeing a
spiraling downward trend BTECH which has been the cash cow for HEIs has seen a significant

About the Founder
Mr. Murali has been an experienced marketing professional with an inherent passion for marketing
and technology and an interesting blend of products as well as services marketing experience. He
has helped several emerging ventures grow into recognizable brands with his marketing strategies
and insights. He has been associated with the Education Industry for the past 13 years as Head of
Marketing for Manipal Education and then for Bennett University where he was pivotal in
redesigning the way marketing is done in the Higher Education space.
He is currently the Founder & CEO of GrowthTrack Info Tech Pvt Ltd providing new age marketing
solutions to Education Institutions while also incubating some new ideas within the company.
Job description
We at GrowthTrack are currently looking for a Video Editor to join our team and create engaging &
impactfull videos for various media applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience
Take a brief to grasp production team s needs and specifications
Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes value
and contribution to continuity
Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
Input music dialogues graphics and effects
Create rough and final cuts
Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
Consult with stakeholders from production to postproduction process
Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry s best practices to
maximize efficiency.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Video Editor
Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. After effects
Premiere Pro Adobe Illustrator Addon Animate and Photoshop)
Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
Thorough knowledge of timing motivation and continuity
Familiarity with special effects 3D and compositing
Creative mind and storytelling skills
BS degree in film studies cinematography or related field
