Overview:
The Sales Trainee/Sales Officer plays a crucial role in driving the companys revenue growth by learning and implementing sales strategies and fostering strong customer relationships. This position is an entrylevel role designed to provide handson experience in sales and contribute to the overall success of the sales team. The Sales Trainee/Sales Officer will receive comprehensive training on sales tactics customer interaction and product knowledge to effectively promote and sell the companys offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn about the companys products and services to effectively promote and sell to potential customers
- Actively engage in prospecting and lead generation activities to identify new business opportunities
- Assist senior sales representatives in conducting sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Utilize effective sales techniques and negotiation strategies to convert leads into customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention
- Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and contribute to overall team success
- Participate in sales training programs to enhance knowledge and skills in sales methodologies
- Provide timely and accurate sales reports and updates on customer interactions to the sales manager
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitive activities to identify potential business risks and opportunities
- Follow up on sales inquiries and coordinate with other departments to address customer needs
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in sales with relevant internships or parttime experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and internal teams
- Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities to close sales and win over potential clients
