Job Description

Overview:

The Lead Technical Business Analyst in Financial Services plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business and technology. They are responsible for understanding business processes identifying areas for improvement and translating business requirements into technical solutions within the financial services domain.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of technical business analysts in the financial services sector.
  • Conduct indepth analysis of financial systems processes and data to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather document and prioritize business requirements for technology projects.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics to provide insights and recommendations for business decisionmaking.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of business and technical requirements process flows and user stories.
  • Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams ensuring clear communication and understanding of project objectives.
  • Participate in the full project lifecycle from planning and design to implementation and postimplementation support.
  • Oversee testing and quality assurance processes to ensure solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge transfer.
  • Stay updated on industry and technology trends to recommend innovative solutions and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Computer Science or related field.
  • Proven experience in a technical business analysis role within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial data analysis modeling and reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial products services and regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of business analysts in a fastpaced environment.
  • Indepth knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Certifications such as CBAP or PMIPBA are a plus.
  • Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
