Description
Looking for a creative and versatile Finance Business/Reporting Analyst with experience in the Finance process areas and Accounting. This person will work closely with the various finance stakeholders (Operations Global Process SMEs SOX etc.) and IT teams to lead various finance reporting needs leveraging Oracle Cloud. The ideal candidate must be able to use a collaborative professional and serviceoriented approach to interacting with these business partners with strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
Works with Finance stakeholders and other crossfunctional business partners to prioritize various reporting asks
For assigned reporting scope drives the process of documenting business needs and gathering requirements and uses cases from subject matter experts (SMEs); owns the overall drafting of the business requirements document (BRD) test scripts for user acceptance testing (UAT) and training materials for various transformation initiatives
Collaborates with the IT team and other cross functional systems teams during the design and support implementation of business solutions
Prepares user training documents and delivers user training for newly developed reports; assists with update/creation of report catalog/inventory.
Host working sessions to gather information from business users with a clear ability to make an agenda take notes and understand action items coming out of meetings.
Selforganize tasks and the ability to navigate competing priorities and deadlines.
Key Competencies:
Experience in defining the business processes and requirements for various reporting needs and building prototypes
Understanding of Finance (QTC P2P/S2P/R2R Projects & Fixed Assets) general business operations and internal controls;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as internal personal skills Familiarity with business practices and cultures across multiple international regions
Strong organizational and business analysis skills; detailoriented and able to work independently multitask and manage smaller scale projects
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills; ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources identify gaps decompose highlevel information into details and drive decisionmaking
Team player flexible and able to resolve conflicts and work with global teams
Experience in working with both Waterfall as well as Agile project methodologies
Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
Experience in business transformational projects/programs globally
Experience in HiTech/SaaS based company is highly preferred
