Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at National Aircon India Pvt Ltd. As a Procurement Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely and costeffective procurement of materials and services. This role requires excellent negotiation and communication skills as well as a strong background in Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) and HVAC Engineering.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field
4 to 6 years of experience in procurement preferably in the Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) industry or HVAC Engineering
Indepth knowledge of procurement processes and best practices
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
Proficient in MS Office suite and ERP software
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and standards
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies aligned with company goals and objectives
Identify potential suppliers and vendors evaluate their capabilities and negotiate contracts and agreements
Ensure timely procurement of materials and services to meet project requirements
Manage vendor relationships and conduct regular performance evaluations
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure procurement needs are met
Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for cost savings
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities including pricing delivery dates and quality
Manage inventory levels and establish effective inventory control processes
Ensure compliance with company and industry regulations and standards
Develop and train procurement staff to enhance their skills and performance
