Job Description

Overview:

The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in the organizations growth and success by identifying new business opportunities building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and contributing to the overall business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Promote the companys products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
  • Build longterm relationships with new and existing customers
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
  • Negotiate and close deals in coordination with the sales team
  • Prepare and deliver pitches and presentations to potential clients
  • Collaborate with various teams to meet customer needs
  • Keep records of sales revenue invoices etc.
  • Attend conferences meetings and industry events
  • Develop quotes and proposals for clients
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Participate in pricing the solution/service
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends
  • Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role
  • Proven sales track record
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
  • A commitment to excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy
  • Strategic and analytical thinking
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Ability to build rapport
  • Time management and planning skills
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong negotiation and dealclosing abilities
  • Knowledge of market research sales and negotiating principles
