Job Description
- Obtain work, evaluating jobs by size and complexity or written/verbal tie-ins to establish job priority.
- Obtain appropriate drawings, Boeing (BAC) specification, documents and/or sketches, using computing systems (e.g., Bold/Web, CATIA), as required.
- Determine media to be used (e.g., coordinate measuring machine (CMM), conventional numerically controlled (CNC) catia, digital data) in layout process.
- Perform layout of part or check work using precision measuring tools (e.g., height gauge, sine bars, micrometer) on surface tables to ensure accuracy.
- Design catia information (e.g., digital data, plots, coordinates, overlays) to facilitate customer (e.g., Quality assurance, engineering, machine shop, production, and tooling) as required.
