Software EngineerDeveloper HPC Integration

What will you be doing As software engineer you will be part of our software development team. The software team develops software for characterization of quantum hardware interfaces to and control of our devices and simulators of (quantum) physics processes. Your focus will be on projects where high computing performance is needed for example in integrating our quantum computer in an HPC environment and simulating quantum computing circuits. Given your specific skills you will be working closely with aside from the other software team members our quantum system architects and quantum application engineers. You will take care of: The development of software for High Performance Quantum Computing. This position can be modified to suit a candidate and mentorship and training are available for further skills development. What we ask of you: Relevant Phd in Computer Science/computational physics/theoretical physics (Msc not excluded if relevant and exceptional) Experience in high performance computing Strong mathematical background. 35 years of relevant experience in a collaborative software development team Software Languages: python c/c Knowledge of common software architectures and coding best practices. Familiarity with professional software development processes and tools Proficiency in English language (verbal & written).
