Position Overview: As an IT Auditor you will play a crucial role in evaluating and enhancing our information systems ensuring the integrity confidentiality and availability of our data. Working closely with various stakeholders you will assess IT processes identify risks and recommend effective controls to safeguard our technology infrastructure. This role requires a meticulous and analytical mindset along with a deep understanding of IT systems and their associated risks.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive IT audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls compliance with industry standards and adherence to company policies.
- Evaluate the security of information systems networks and applications to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigating measures.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to understand business processes information flows and system dependencies to ensure a holistic approach to IT auditing.
- Develop and execute audit plans including risk assessments audit testing and documentation of findings.
- Stay abreast of industry trends emerging technologies and regulatory changes to continuously enhance the IT audit framework.
- Provide clear and concise audit reports to management highlighting findings recommendations and risk mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with IT and business units to ensure the timely implementation of audit recommendations and monitor progress towards remediation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven 2 years experience as an IT Auditor or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems networks and security protocols.
- Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (ISO 27001 GDPR etc.).
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Fluency in English and Dutch and or French.
