Simple Energy specializes in the manufacture of smart electric twowheelers. We are a team of 300 engineers coming together to make smart supercharging and affordable twowheelers. The company was founded in 2019 and is based in Bangalore India.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and use vehicle/system models to support vehicle design and development.
- Provide objective data guidance on vehicle dynamics and durability performance based on simulation outputs.
- Analysis of realworld test data correlation of models
- Primary responsibility is to perform ride handling and steering development of vehicles
- Working with a lead engineer tires steering and suspension components will be specified to meet program performance targets using a combination of simulation objective testing and subjective methods.
- Responsible for Subjective evaluation of ride steering and handling performance as well as objective measurement of certain attributes.
- Other responsibilities include coordination of prototype vehicles parts execution and documentation of development activities and presentation of results.
- Develop vehicle and subsystems simulation models to predict the performance of the proposed solutions.
- Work with the CAD team to optimise the design to improve the dynamics.
- Create test rigs and DataAcquisition systems to validate and test vehicle characteristics.
- Work on areas like suspension geometry tire characteristics spring and damper settings twowheeler cornering characteristics straightline dynamics etc.
- Create mathematical models to simulate the performance of the vehicle for different use cases on softwares like Matlab Adams etc
Skills Required
- Advanced driving and vehicle evaluation skills.
- Skilled in problem solving techniques.
- Should be able to handle softwares such as MATLAB Simulink/Simscape BikeSim IPG Motorcycle Maker. Cooperate with tire design team and provide recommendations for tire design tuning to meet tire/vehicle performance objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to work in teams balancing technical theory with practical limitations.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle dynamics and design of machine elements.
- Prior experience of working with data acquisition systems and creating mathematical models to compute the acquired data.
- Prior experience with softwares like Matlab and Adams.
- Motorcycle experience preferred.
