Accounts Payable Specialist

• Process accounts payable invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
  
• Verify and validate all payment requests and supporting documents including purchase orders invoices receipts cash advances etc.
  
• Anticipate plan prioritize and process timely release of payments for recurring operating expenses government statutory payments and employee compensations and benefits.
  
• Ensure that all requirements are secured and verified for tax filing in accordance with BIR regulations.
  
• Process payment disbursements by cheque preparation or online transfers.
  
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
  
• Communicate effectively with vendors banks clients and internal stakeholders to resolve concerns and inquiries.
  
• Assist with cash flow management and budgeting.
  
• Perform bank reconciliation activities.
  
• Navigate and manage intercompany transactions in a multicompany setup.
  
• Utilize technology and datadriven insights to enhance accounting processes.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or any related field.
  
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  
• Proficiency in accounting software online payment processing tools and Google Workspace and Odoo experience is an advantage.
  
• Knowledgeable in local tax laws and regulations including compliance requirements.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes.
  
• Experience in a multicompany setup with a strong focus on intercompany transactions.
  
• Techsavvy with proficiency in Gsuite.
  
• Understanding of withholding tax procedures.
