Job Description

GRANT PROGRAM BUDGET ANALYST (Permanent)
Our client an established nonprofit organization in WNY is looking to hire a Grant Program Budget Analyst to join their team. This is a great opportunity with room for growth and an excellent worklife balance.


Responsibilities:

  • Perform daytoday financial responsibilities managing the development and execution of budgets for grant programs in the organization
  • Collaborate with Program Administrators to analyze grants and develop budgets according to federal state and local regulations
  • Analyze and adjust budgets to ensure appropriate allocation of funds from grants
  • Evaluate and present alternative budgetary plans to upper management
  • Create and present appropriate financial reports outlining program spending versus budget limitations
  • Develop financial forecasts outlining potential monetary requirements to achieve the greatest success of the program
  • Analyze data and consolidate into presentations to deliver to the Board of Directors and Policy Council
  • Offer educated suggestions to improve the overall impact of the programs spending
  • Other duties as assigned/as necessary

Details:

  • Position is full time direct hire
  • 100% inoffice
  • Must be able to pass SCR clearance fingerprinting and physical examination
  • $65000 $70000 annually depending on experience
  • Excellent Benefits package Generous PTO 12 sick days closed on bank holidays
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Business Administration or related
  • 3 years in Accounting Grants or managing government related funds
  • Excellent computer skills Microsoft Office Suite
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong organization skills and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Relocation not available
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available
