You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Materials Coordinator is instrumental in streamlining our production processes by ensuring the
efficient management and flow of materials. From receiving to shipping this individual holds
responsibility for the entire lifecycle of materials within the company ensuring a seamless operation
and minimal disruptions.
1. Receiving & Documentation
Oversee the receiving process for all incoming materials and supplies.
Accurately manage and maintain all associated documentation.
2. Material Identification & Placement
Quickly and accurately identify received materials.
Ensure the correct storage of materials by placing them in their designated locations.
3. Inventory Management
Keep an updated inventory of all parts and supplies.
Monitor stock levels and generate restock alerts when inventory runs low.
4. Ordering Supplies
Place orders to replenish supplies and ensure the uninterrupted flow of production.
Collaborate with suppliers for timely deliveries while ensuring quality.
5. Equipment Operation
Skillfully operate forklift and telehandler for tasks including offloading loading and
material transportation.
Ensure safety guidelines are adhered to during all equipment operations.
6. Production Support
Ensure continuous supply and removal of materials to and from the production line
preventing any disruptions or halts.
7. Shipping & Documentation
Prepare necessary paperwork for shipments.
Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries to customers or other
facilities.
8. Safety & Maintenance
Ensure all storage areas and equipment are maintained in a safe clean and orderly
manner.
Conduct regular checks and report any equipment malfunctions.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in supply chain or inventory
management are a plus.
Prior experience in a materials management or warehouse role.
Valid license to operate a forklift and telehandler.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management software.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
