Intermediate AU Tax Accountant

• Accounting degree or related degree with a major in accounting
  
• Completed or working towards completion of CA/CPA certification
  
• Minimum of 3 years proven experience in accounting and taxation with a focus on AU tax and accounting
  
• Thorough understanding of Australias taxation legislation including GST FBT CGT Division 7A
  
• Strong commercial acumen paired with sound technical accounting and analytical skills
  
• Effective issue identification and communication abilities
  
• Experience with popular accounting software such as MYOB Xero Reckon Quickbooks
  
• Familiarity with Reckon APS program (desirable)
  
• Proficient in English writing and verbal communication
  
• Excellent communication skills with emphasis on relationship and stakeholder management
  
• Strong attention to detail and prioritization capabilities
  
• Collaborative and teamoriented mindset with a focus on building internal relationships
  
• Ability to meet productivity and turnaround metrics

• Safeguarding compliance: Ensuring meticulous maintenance of all documentation including work papers and client files in strict accordance with clients compliance requirements.
