Job Description

Title: Senior Enterprise Architect
Location: Regina or Saskatoon (Hybrid)
Seniority on the skill/s required on this requirement: Senior
Estimated Duration: 2 years with possible extension for another 3 years
Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in CA)
Musthave skills: 10 years of experience as Senior Enterprise Architect. Must have experience working with govt entities as Enterprise Architect.

Project overview: This is a key strategic role in the Core Solution Project implementing Sapiens CoreSuite. This role will engage with subject matter experts and business process owners to act as a strategic and technical lead on the Core Solution to integrate with the enterprise architecture program.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a strategic technical lead and participate in the development of the Core Solution enterprise architecture such as but not limited to:
  • Lead and facilitate collaboration among all technical architects within the program.
  • Facilitate and design technical architecture for Core Project (Sapiens CoreSuite) to integrate with Client systems with research analysis advise and collaboration leadership.
  • Maintain and promote a broad perspective to ensure all Core solution impacts and implications of design decisions are considered.
  • Review proposed solutions and facilitate appropriate approvals to ensure that solutions are designed and documented in alignment with Clients Enterprise Architecture.
  • Develop and manage a technology governance approach that encourages collaboration.
  • Integrate project architecture governance processes with Client Enterprise Architecture processes and organizations.
  • Support the development of the Clients Enterprise Architecture (EA) capabilities such as but not limited to:
  • Facilitate the development of Clients foundational EA capabilities through the Architecture Review Board in support of the Information Technology (IT) & Business intelligence (BI) Governance Committees goals and direction.
  • Configure an architecture framework that works best for our organization while adapting best practices and industry frameworks.
  • Create a practical operational plan to advance the EA maturity of the IT & BI Services organization.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of proven Senior Enterprise Architect experience.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices that will inform advice and recommendations for clients.
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining enterprise architecture governance practices.
  • Developing and delivering longterm strategic goals for enterprise architecture vision and standards in conjunction with architecture domain owners users department managers clients and other key stakeholders.
  • Best practice leadership and knowledge of enterprise architecture strategy activities including but not limited to:
Indepth understanding of enterprise architecture principles.
Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements.
Knowledge and experience with the various technical architecture domains.
Experience with enterprise architecture tools software and techniques.
  • Experience in the assessment of business requirements collection and identification of technical specifications and the subsequent development of technology solutions (i.e. business applications workflow systems purchased applications developed applications and applications integration).
  • Building relationships to create an internal management consultancy.
  • Developing technical specifications and ensuring new technology solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness and leveraging existing technologies when possible.
  • Participating as a technical resource in multifunctional teams giving advice and support as directed by WCB.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and productively address concerns.
  • Proven experience working completing projects of a similar nature and complexity.
