Embark on exciting tasks including:

• Receipting in wires to software system (SoftPro Select)
  
• Posting and saving ledger transfer forms and disbursement ledgers in software system (SoftPro Select)
  
• Daily monitoring of positive pay and bank exceptions
  
• Monthly trust account reconciliation
  
• Pulling in all monthly bank statements
  
• Running weekly trial balance reports
  
• Tracking down stale dated fund owners
  
• Sending reconciliation reports to title underwriters
  
• Daily trust accounting running balance ledger for multiple subcompanies
  
• Assist with remittance to underwriters
  
• Filing bulk notary invoices in software system
  
• Assist with filing annual state tax filings in a handful of US states
  
• Manage reimbursement expenses
  
• Filing annual reports in 30 states
  
• Managing registered agent service renewals in 30 states
  
• Renewing 60 state licenses for entity and officers annually

• Minimum BS degree with a major in accounting from an accredited university or college required.
  
• Minimum 2 years accounting experience required.
  
• Experience in a related industry is preferred.
  
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  
• Concur invoice and expense system experience a plus.
  
• A finance major who has completed intermediate and advanced accounting will qualify
  
• General ledger accounting work experience a plus.
  
• Excellent business references required.
  
• Expert level MS Excel skills required.
  
• Must get along with people well.
  
• You must be smart highly organized detailed and accurate.
  
• You must be a selfstarter with a strong work ethic
