SAP Configurator Engineer
R&D Reporting to Approvals Manager
Location: Worthing West Sussex. hybrid working
Role
To develop new and maintain the SAP variant configurators and XaitCPQ configurators for all existing products and all required changes. The role involves interpretating the changes requested into the logic/programming in both SAP and XaitCPQ
Tasks
- Building product configurators in SAP and XaitCPQ
- Maintaining existing products in both systems
- Maintaining pricing material rules and validation rules in both systems
- Ensuring both systems are updated in a timely manner
- Investigating and correcting potential errors reported by others
- Calculating price changes in Excel based on criteria supplied by others
- Updating prices and costs
- Creating and updating materials
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of/ability to quickly learn Pascalbased algorithm code/SAP logic
- Experience with and good knowledge of Excel
- Familiar with changecontrolled processes
- Understanding of Bills of Material
- Experienced with building and maintaining configured products in CPQ software
Desirable
- Experienced in building and maintaining SAP Variant Configurations
- Ability to create SAP material pricing and validation rules
- Advanced SAP VC user
