Role overview
We are looking for an Account Manager who is passionate about technology marketing to support our agency client services team across a variety of disciplines including PR social media and advertising. You will manage client programs and provide strategic counsel to clients. Reporting to an Account Director you will manage the daily strategy and client communications as well as social media public relations and advertising programs as applicable.
As an Account Manager at Publitek you will:
Effectively plan and execute strategic PR programs
Conduct and direct the team on media pitching and placement for announcements launches and active storytelling
Understand the media landscape and actively monitor for new opportunities guiding the team to ensure clientspecific media lists are on target
Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and media
Secure and manage briefings and schedules and serve as clients PR representative during briefings
Manage writing/editing of PR materials and other content
Manage paid and organic social media programs for both brands and executives; writing copy or reviewing and guiding junior staff toward optimized content
Develop PR plans and set quarterly/yearly metrics based on business objectives and anecdotal program performance
Help drive programs for media buying creative concept development lead generation and lead nurturing (advertising experience is not required as long as you are willing to learn!)
Oversee reporting analysis and program optimization
Lead status/strategy calls with clients; manage client relationships; oversee integrated programs
Guide junior staff on daytoday responsibilities
Contribute to financial management and time forecasting of accounts
You will bring:
At least 5 years of experience in PR/Social Media/Advertising
Experience in strategic PR and organic social media strategy (paid social media is a plus)
Your experience of managing advertising direct marketing and collateral or a genuine desire and commitment to learn them
Experience within agency environments and B2B technology clients
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant business experience
Experience establishing communication and engagement with stakeholders
