Job Description

Renowned Recruitment Group is seeking a qualified Chief Financial Officer for our esteemed client. Working closely with the CEO the chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of our community. We are in search of a seasoned professional who will excel in overseeing various financial aspects ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and fostering a culture aligned with our values.

Responsibilities and Competencies:

  • Direct oversight of budgeting accounting and cash management to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly and yearly financial statements and cash flow statements.
  • Maintenance of robust financial accounting systems and internal controls to facilitate a clean annual audit and compliance with GAAP
  • Collaboration with the CEO to gather data for program evaluation and improvement.
  • Fulfillment of requirements outlined in principal financing documents and lender requests.
  • Regular review and evaluation of budget performance.
  • Compliance with regulatory cost reporting and staying updated on federal state and local reporting requirements.
  • Annual review and recommendation of changes to fee structures.
  • Management of annual corporate audit and tax return preparation.
  • Establishment and enhancement of internal financial policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring of cash flow and revenue tracking systems.
  • Maintenance of liability and insurance policies and risk management practices.
  • Decisionmaking on investment strategies and oversight of investments.
  • Collaboration with financial broker for portfolio management analysis.
  • Active involvement in business expansion projects and recommendations for financial health and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business finance or accounting (required); Master’s degree preferred.
  • Ten years of financial management and supervisory experience preferably in healthcarerelated entities.
  • Track record of driving financial growth and operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency in accounting procedures specific to healthcare facilities.
  • Familiarity with legalities related to healthcare facilities.
  • Strong analytical communication and leadership skills.
  • Understanding of Medicare billing processes.
