**Role in Falkland Islands (Relocation Supported)**
Our client is a telecommunications company seeking a proactive highly motivated senior manager to lead and oversee the Accounting and Finance team across the South Atlantic and Diego Garcia Region. This is an exciting new opportunity for someone wishing to relocate to an exciting part of the world to work with a global telecommunications company. This role is to be based in their Falkland Islands operations.
Tasks
- The Principal Responsibilities involve fostering collaborative relationships across finance and other functions aligning with company objectives and managing team performance.
- This includes measuring profitability maintaining accounting systems overseeing financial transactions and preparing budgets and reports.
- Additionally as the Commercial Finance Manager responsibilities extend to managing capital investments ensuring regulatory compliance formulating financial plans setting selling prices maintaining margins and adhering to legal and safety requirements.
- The individual will also undergo training to understand and comply with regulatory rules data protection laws health and safety policies and security protocols.
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 3 years in a Financial Management position
- Experience in the production and scheduling of commercial and financial plans
- Must be computer literate in Microsoft Office suite: Outlook Word and Excel.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A professional accounting qualification full or part qualified with membership of a recognised professional body essential.
- Appropriate first degree/post graduate degree desirable
