Job Title: Shipping & Receiving CLerk

Job Summary:
Your main responsibility will be making sure that orders get shipped in a timely and correct manner including:
- Becoming familiar with identifying the products (we will teach you!)
- Reviewing each order and pulling what the customer requested from stock
- Packaging the items into an envelope or box and preparing the package for shipment
- Signing for packages and handing out any incoming mail/packages to the appropriate colleague
- Keeping an eye on inventory and communicating when stock/bins/supplies are getting low
Other duties will include:
- Assisting the assembly team putting products together
- Assisting the manufacturing team making parts
- Lifting and moving boxes
- Occasional errands and trips to the post office
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications:
- You re a good communicator.
- You can be flexible. As a small business we all wear many hats and fill in where needed. This position in particular may float between shipping/receiving assembly and manufacturing when needed.
- You value good oldfashioned work ethic. You take initiative and ownership to see things through to completion. If it needs doing you do it.
- You re comfortable working both independently and as part of a team to get things done. You work with a sense of urgency and know how to hustle.
Other Details:
- This is an onsite day shift position in a climatecontrolled warehouse and shipping environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment (such as computers phones photocopiers) as well as manufacturing/warehouse equipment (such as ladders stools bins molding machines). No manufacturing experience required.
- We re ideally looking for someone who is willing to commit at least two years to this position.
- Work hours are Monday through Friday 8:305:00 with a 30 minute lunch break.
