What Youll Do
- Primary focus: expanding the client portfolio by acquiring new customers through cold outreach and leveraging existing networks broker channels and bank partnerships
- Identifying new business opportunities with large corporations (NL top 500) and midcap companies including multinationals
- Structuring large complex (international) transactions for guarantee facilities ranging from EUR 2.5 to 250 million
- Drafting highquality credit proposals in collaboration with the Risk team
- Managing relationships with existing clients aiming to increase share of wallet ensure timely collection of financial information and prepare credit/renewal proposals in alignment with the renewal calendar
- Cultivating and nurturing relationships with key contacts within client organizations including at the Board level Finance department and treasury teams
- Implementing the commercial strategy in a competitive niche market targeting midsized/large corporate companies across various sectors such as construction manufacturing food/agri energy transport & storage trade & commodities
- Proactively managing contact strategy recording sales activities and managing the funnel of new business opportunities in Salesforce
- Reporting to the Commercial Director S&G Netherlands based in the Amsterdam office
- Providing timely and accurate reporting to the Commercial Director S&G Netherlands
Requirements
What You Bring
- Sales professional with relevant experience in financial services and a background in structuring and selling complex financial products
- Demonstrated experience and success in consultative selling independently structuring bespoke solutions for large corporations across different market segments
- Relationship management skills with a drive to exceed challenging targets
- Comfortable leading conversations at the Clevel
- Ability to balance perfection with progress with a keen eye for (legal) details
- Proactive and creative in executing commercial and business strategy within a corporate environment; motivated to develop build and manage your portfolio of clients
- Strong risk analysis skills and experience in writing highstandard credit underwriting proposals
- Excellent commercial interpersonal and presentation skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English (both verbal and written)
- Minimum 35 years of experience in relevant sales/account management roles in a direct sales environment preferably in banking or insurance
- Affinity with the transformation of financial services digitalization and innovation
