VDOT Project Manager

Equinox Consulting Partners is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our client in Richmond VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading diverse project teams through all phases of Waterfall Agile and Hybrid projects. They will play a pivotal role in transforming identified requirements and opportunities into executable plans for delivery ensuring exceptional value for our clients internal and external stakeholders. This is a HYBRID position requiring the successful candidate to commute into the office 23 days a week. Only candidates local to the Richmond VA area will be considered.

Skills :

• Originate and oversee proposals statements of work statements of requirements and RFP responses facilitating the technical and planning aspects of the technology procurement process.
• Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive project plans incorporating agency best practices and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Seamlessly transition developed plans to internal and external teams for successful execution utilizing PMI bestpractices.
• Provide ongoing oversight and governance to projects throughout their execution ensuring adherence to project governance standards and delivery of highquality outcomes.
• Monitor progress by thirdparty vendors defining and measuring progress with predefined metrics and milestones.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders at all levels including executive management project sponsors vendors and technology management.
• Set goals for initiatives consistent with technical objectives and organizational strategy.
• Adhere to project management practices and governance requirements exhibiting significant emotional intelligence in handling project challenges and maintaining a positive project culture.
