Ground Control is a leading grounds maintenance and landscaping business committed to enhancing and improving the physical environment.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an Apprentice to join ourGrounds Maintenance team based on siteat Green Park in Reading.

Youll work across this large site with our experienced team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives and will learn everything you need to know horticulture grounds maintenance and plants starting right from the basics. Well give you all the time support and guidance you need to achieve highly in this Level 2 Horticulture Operative course. This includes up to 1 day a week to focus on your studies.

All we ask is that you put in as much effort as we do!

This really could be your first step towards a long and successful career within the Grounds Maintenance team at Ground Control. We want more than anything to see our apprentices move up in their career to supervisor and senior management roles in the future.

Who are we looking for

We are looking for hardworking responsible people who are genuinely looking to grow a longterm career in the Horticultural and Landscaping industry.

You must love the outdoors and not be afraid of manual work in all weathers! Youll also need to be a selfstarter able to motivate yourself to complete your studies during the week at the same time as working full time.

You will be required to drive a company vehicle around site therefore a driving licence is essential.

Passes in Maths and English GCSEs are a real advantage but not essential.
