Job Description:

Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Lab Services Manager to oversee networking and test activities within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in networking testing methodologies troubleshooting and intermediate engineering skills. In addition to technical expertise the Lab Services Manager will be responsible for implementing governance frameworks establishing inventory management protocols and ensuring lifecycle management of lab resources.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Networking and Test Activities: Manage and oversee networking infrastructure within the lab environment. Coordinate and execute test activities to validate networking protocols configurations and performance.
2. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve networking issues within the lab environment. Utilize troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose and address networkrelated issues promptly.
3. Governance Implementation: Develop and implement governance frameworks to standardize lab procedures workflows and documentation. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
4. Inventory Management: Develop and implement inventory management protocols for lab resources including hardware software and networking equipment. Establish procedures for tracking monitoring and maintaining inventory levels.
5. Python Proficiency: Knowledge of Python scripting is a plus. Utilize Python scripts to automate repetitive tasks streamline workflows and enhance efficiency within the lab environment.
6. Protocol Dependency: Understand and manage protocol dependencies within the lab environment. Ensure compatibility and interoperability between different networking protocols and technologies.
7. Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle management of lab resources including procurement deployment maintenance and retirement. Develop strategies to optimize resource utilization and minimize downtime.
8. Patching and Updates: Collaborate with the IT team to ensure timely patching and updates of networking equipment and software. Monitor patching schedules and assess the adequacy of patching activities to mitigate security risks. Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
• 5 years of experience in networking testing and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Python scripting is a plus.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP DNS DHCP SNMP etc.
• Experience with inventory management systems and protocols.
• Knowledge of lifecycle management principles and best practices.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
