Job Description

The advertising close date for this vacancy is Tuesday 6th February 2024.

The ideal candidate will be a sales oriented self-starter capable of contributing to a high performance inside sales and support function, playing an integral role in growing a dynamic business. You will provide a key interface with the customer, supporting all aspects of the sales and customer care process. Working in a team environment, the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent external and internal customer focus throughout. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, closing of sales and generating new revenue.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute to maximising sales revenue, in conjunction with the Clinical Sales Team

  • Support inside sales process from lead generation to close including generating new revenue from existing business, introducing new products to both existing & new businesses and supporting marketing campaigns.

  • Meet and exceed customer expectations, providing exceptional service and support in a professional, knowledgeable, timely manner, as first internal point of contact for the customer.

  • Proactively and professionally respond and manage customer calls/queries.

  • Ensuring customer commitments are met, keeping customers informed on order status and liaising with suppliers on deliveries.

  • Carry out and compile tender submissions in conjunction with Sales management and other departments.

  • Provide quotations to customers in a timely manner and to a professional standard.

  • Support the Sales Team in managing key customer accounts.

  • Nurture and maintain a positive relationship with principals and suppliers.

  • Actively contribute to a very positive team environment and performance.

  • Contribute and assist in conference and event planning.

  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Key Result Areas

  • Sales performance (Revenue - measured monthly and annually vs Budget).

  • Direct customer engagement (measured monthly).

  • Pipeline generation KPI's (measured monthly).

  • Pipeline conversion to sales KPI (measured monthly).

  • Customer backorder fulfilment.

  • Area Manager support.

Location Requirements

  • Office based at Uniphar Medtech, Northern Cross Business Park.

  • Attendance at some conferences and meetings may be required from time to time.

Experience & Background

  • 1 years' experience in an Inside Sales / Customer Care role is essential, preferably in a Healthcare environment.
  • A proven track record in sales is essential with a proven history of achieving and exceeding set KPI's and sales targets
  • Proven track record in customer engagement.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding set KPI's and targets.
  • Possesses a track record in sales revenue generation.
  • Previous experience of medical device sales/customer support is an advantage.

  • Experience in an Inside Sales / Customer Carerole is essential, preferably in a Healthcare environment.
