Tooling Manager

Are you a dynamic Tooling Manager with leadership skills ready for a challenge

Our client near Canton MI is seeking a Tooling Manager to lead maintenance staff as well as work with outside suppliers. In this role you will be responsible for planning coordinate Capital projects along with department budget including cost control. You will provide manufacturing engineering services and implement maintenance and direct HS&E practices.

Qualifications needed to be successful in this role:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical
• 5 years in Manufacturing / process environment
• Project Management experience including planning organization along with conflict resolution
• Strong technical knowledge including engineering principles and codes HS &E practices
• TS16949 and ISO 14001 knowledge
• Experience with 3rd/4th class steam engineer ticket or steam experience; preferred
• 5s lean manufacturing continuous improvement or Kaizen knowledge

Location: Canton MI area

Salary: $90120k depending on experience
