Job Description

The position entails the primary responsibility for ensuring the accurate timely submission of reports to both funding entities and other external organizations. It also encompasses the duty to certify that the Management Information Systems (MIS) function aligns with various internal and external standards. This includes adherence to internal audit timetables and the thorough documentation and following of MIS policies and procedures.


Objective:


Oversee the precise timely dispatch of reports to funding bodies and external entities.

Confirm compliance of the MIS function with all pertinent internal and external requisites including alignment with internal auditing schedules and the rigorous application and documentation of MIS protocols.


Principal Duties:

Manage the organisations information management and data recording frameworks to support efficient reporting and data submissions.

Generate and disseminate funding reports on schedule offering vital insights to the Senior Leadership Team.

Facilitate access to precise uptodate reporting across all organizational departments to aid in strategic decisionmaking.

Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of data to external funders specifically in areas such as Apprenticeship and Adult Education Budgets.

Implement and enhance compliance strategies to fulfil the data requirements of funding bodies focusing on learner data accuracy.

Employ data validation and audit tools provided by ESFA to guarantee submissions meet established quality and audit standards.

Prepare Self Assessment Reports and contribute to the organisations SelfAssessment Report (SAR) and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

Uphold exemplary customer service standards for all Finance and Performance functions serving both internal and external stakeholders.

Direct the operations of the Funding and Performance Department guiding strategic decisionmaking from a data and funding perspective.

Offer advice and support to enhance departmental allocation management and assist in financial decisionmaking processes.

Monitor evaluate and recommend enhancements to all funding and data information systems ensuring their optimal performance.

Engage in professional development activities and support the organizations commitment to Equality and Diversity Policies.


Qualifications and Skills Required:


Deep knowledge and experience with funding regulations and reporting requirements. More specifically Adult Education Budget (AEB) and Skills Bootcamps.

A proven track record in managing data and information systems efficiently.

Ability to work under pressure and adhere to important deadlines.

Experience with Learner Management Systems and preferably the Bud eportfolio system.

Skills in creating reports via Microsoft Power BI are desirable.
