Job Summary
The Executive Procurement supports the development of procurement strategies by monitoring inventory movement and reconciling supplies with established procedures. He/she performs forecasting material planning and procurement functions in line with regulatory requirements company’s Environmental Social & Corporate Governance (ESG) guidelines and policies and supports vendor management based on established supplier selection processes and criteria. With a clear understanding of customers’ needs and expectations the Executive Procurement enhances service quality by identifying and recommending innovations to improve work processes and systems. He/she will support the implementation of technologies and leverage on data analytics to enable efficient green procurement operations.
He/she should possess strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders to deliver work outcomes. He/she is also expected to engage in training and performance improvement opportunities to meet individual and business key performance indicators.
Job Responsibilities/Key Tasks(External)
- Deploy organisation's procurement activities based on established product specifications and customer needs in accordance to company’s ESG guidelines and policies.
- Continuous review and leverage on the eprocurement systems to streamline the supplier selection process improve compliance and strengthen risk management in accordance with company’s ESG guidelines and policies.
- Verify inventory needs by gathering inventoryrelated information from customers to determine customer requirements.
- Address customer dissatisfaction of products service standards while working with relevant parties to resolve issues in support of company’s supply chain operations.
- Engage in OnJob Training (OJT) and performance improvement opportunities.
- Identify trends and patterns in business performance data using basic data analytics tools.
- Support implementation of safety health and corporate governance standards and procedures.
- File electronic and hardcopy documents according to standard procedures and requirements.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office/Power Platform Applications
- Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
Professional Qualifications & Relevant Experience
- Fresh Degree holders Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/Logistics/Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualifications
- Diploma (with minimum relevant working experience in procurement and purchasing of 2 years)
- 13 years of relevant working experience will be preferred
