Oracle Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL.

• Write complex SQL queries stored procedures functions packages and triggers.

• Use Toad for Oracle to develop debug and optimize database code.

• Perform data modelling database design and performance tuning.

• Collaborate with application developers business analysts and other stakeholders to understand requirements and implement effective database solutions.

• Develop and maintain Unix shell scripts to support database operations and automation tasks.

• Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues and provide timely resolutions.

• Ensure data integrity security and availability by implementing best practices and adhering to company policies.

• Participate in code reviews testing and deployment processes.

• Provide production support and resolve issues as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of5years of experience as an Oracle Developer.

• Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and SQL query optimization.

• Extensive experience using Toad for Oracle.

• Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and shell scripting.

• Experience with database design data modelling and performance tuning.

• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git) is a plus.

• Knowledge of Oracle APEX Oracle Forms or other Oracle development tools is a plus.
