Job Description

Trainee Human Resource Specialist

Overview:

As a Trainee Human Resource Specialist you will be an integral part of our HR team learning and contributing to various HR functions. This role is essential in supporting the growth and development of our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of HR activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process including job posting screening and scheduling interviews.
  • Contribute to employee relations initiatives such as organizing teambuilding activities and addressing employee concerns.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new hires including orientations and training.
  • Assist in maintaining HR documents records and databases.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting for HR metrics and trends.
  • Help in the coordination of employee performance evaluations and feedback processes.
  • Support HR projects such as benefits administration and compliance initiatives.
  • Assist in conducting research on HR best practices and industry trends.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team including scheduling meetings and preparing documents.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles practices and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel for data analysis.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work activities.
  • Basic knowledge of HRIS and HR software is a plus.
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
