As a Senior Accounts Payable your responsibilities will include receiving invoices from vendors or downloading them ensuring accuracy completeness and compliance with company procedures and entering invoices into the accounting system promptly and accurately.

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field preferred
  
• 35 years of experience in accounts payable
  
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Sage etc. as well as Microsoft Excel
  
• Experience handling a high volume of invoice processing
  
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
  
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  

Invoice Processing:

• Receive invoices from vendors or download invoices then review them for accuracy completeness and compliance with company procedures.
  
• Enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and in a timely manner.
  

Vendor Management:

• Maintain accurate vendor records including contact information payment terms and tax documentation.
  
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies payment inquiries and other issues.
  
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or outstanding balances.
  

MonthEnd Close:

• Assist with monthend closing activities related to accounts payable and reconciliations.
  
• Prepare and analyze accounts payable aging reports and other financial reports as needed.
  

Process Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounts payable function to streamline workflows increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement process improvements and system enhancements.
  

Adhoc Projects:

• Assist with adhoc projects and tasks as assigned by management.
