Job Description
The Technician for plastic machinery role is a full-time on-site role located in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plastic machinery, including extruders, grinders, and injection machines. The technician must be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team to ensure the machinery is running at optimal levels. Qualifications • At least 2 years of experience in maintaining and repairing plastic machinery, including extruders, grinders, and injection machines • Good understanding of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical components • Ability to read schematics and blueprints, diagnose problems, and make repairs as necessary • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Effective communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines • High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant certifications preferred • Ability to work flexible hours and handle emergency repairs as needed
