Content Marketing Executive

BIGDUG a strong brand of TAKKT Group is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Content Marketing Executive on a 12 month fixed term contractto shape the future of work!This pivotal role involves working closely with the Content Manager with the primary aim to create both longform and shortform written content ensuring it is suitable for onpage optimisation and follows uptodate SEO best practices. We are looking for a handson SEOaware and creative content marketer to join our growing SEO and Content Marketing team reporting directly to the Content Manager and the Head of SEO.

Tasks:

• Writing both shortform and longform copy for offline and online channels maintaining our brand voice and understanding how impactful copy can drive user engagement (both returning and new users unfamiliar with the brands we offer) and conversions
• Content Creation that supports the Content Manager by creating a wide variety of onpage content for productspecific pages and broader product category pages as well as other webbased copy
• Ensuring SEO best practice is maintained and that content is optimised for search and in line with the keywords we are targeting
• Assisting with product copy liaising with the Content Manager and the Product Team
• Assist with the creation and development of case studies or internal support materials for the Business Services team
• Create blog articles that seamlessly align with ongoing promotions sales initiatives and strategic product pushes
• Upload product page content category page content and blog articles as needed

Profile:

• Knowledge and experience in writing technical/product copy that is optimised for search including optimising for search intent HTML tags internal links and general onpage SEO. If you do not have this experience you must have the willingness to learn and training will be provided
• Able to demonstrate strong writing skills with a proven ability to proof and edit the work of others
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• Track record in producing a wide variety of content
• Have the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Experience using ecommerce website platforms and Wordpress
• Strong organisational skills
• Adaptable to industry trends and changes
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and as part of the wider business team for a streamlined outcome
