About Gailarde

Gailarde is a familyrun business established in 1979 as a wholesale supplier of textiles and is now one of the UKs largest suppliers of linen bedding furniture and homeware. Originating as a wholesale textile supplier weve consistently expanded our wholesale operations YoY. In addition to this steady growth weve recently made exciting strides into the DirectToConsumer (DTC) sector with our own brand UniKitOut and the newly acquired noah Starter Kits which we added to our portfolio in May 2023.

As we look to further venture into the DTC space were looking to build a skilled team of professionals to propel our expansion. Joining us gives the opportunity to apply your expertise across our UniKitOut brand aiming to multiply its growth in the near future. Our team of 75 professionals spanning various departments are ready to support this venture bolstered by our advanced inhouse warehouse facilities which provide a robust backbone for any DTC operations.

Tasks

About the Role UniKitOut Partnership Manager

Were looking for an experienced individual whos looking to make their mark within a newly formed Marketing team within a larger organisation. Reporting to the Head of Marketing this is a rewarding role which will be instrumental to our growth over the next year.

Key Responsibilities (Day to Day)

  • Cultivate and nurture new & existing partnerships with universities and PBSAs across the UK a partnership is at no cost to the provider & offers an enhanced arrival process for their students.
  • Drive business development initiatives to expand UniKitOuts network of collaborators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor partnership proposals that align with UniKitOuts values and goals.
  • Present the unique benefits of partnering with UniKitOut to potential collaborators.
  • Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements ensuring terms are favorable for all parties involved.

Requirements

About You

What were looking for

  • Proven experience in business development and partnership management this role will consist of assisting with the management of our 300 existing University & PBSA partnerships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills & ability to target potential partnerships & build longstanding relationships with existing partners.
  • Understanding of the education sector and student accommodation landscape.
  • Ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

  • At least 23 years experience in Business Development and Sales.
  • Proven track record of developing managing and executing strategic deals independently.
  • Highly organised good written skills and incredible attention to detail.
  • Selfstarter with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience within Marketing is advantageous.
  • Meticulous in your approach with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
  • A positive attitude full of ideas and work well under pressure working independently to draw conclusions and take action.
  • Change (and sometimes chaos!) doesnt faze youas a startup and a growing team we pride ourselves in our agility and ability to change direction and our job tasks as needed.

Bonus Points:

  • Business Development experience/network in the Retail Property (BTR PBSA etc.) or Education sector.

Salary Range: Basic Salaryplus annual performancebased remuneration.
