Education and certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, computer engineer
Relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), and Vendor-specific certificates.
Technical knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of computer hardware and operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
Proficiency in network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN) and protocols.
Familiarity with troubleshooting software, remote desktop tools, and diagnostic utilities.
Experience in installing and configuring software applications and hardware devices, including servers and workstations.
Proficiency in configuring and managing CCTV systems, including camera placement, angle adjustment, and field of view settings.
Familiarity with video analytics and motion detection technology.
Ability to troubleshoot CCTV system issues, including camera malfunctions, recording problems, and connectivity issues.
Understanding of intrusion detection sensors such as motion detectors, door/window contacts, glass break detectors, and seismic sensors.
Knowledge of intrusion control panels and keypads for arming/disarming the system.
Proficiency in configuring and programming intrusion detection zones and alarm triggers.
Familiarity with integration of intrusion systems with other security systems like CCTV and access control.
Knowledge of access control software for user management, access rights configuration, and event logging.
Proficiency in designing and implementing access control policies and security zones.
Familiarity with integration of access control systems with other security systems and building management systems.
Ability to troubleshoot access control system issues such as card reader failures, access denials, and system communication errors.
Understanding of fire alarm system components including smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, and control panels.
Knowledge of fire alarm system design standards and regulations.
Proficiency in configuring and programming fire alarm control panels for detection zones, alarm thresholds, and notification settings.
Familiarity with integration of fire alarm systems with other building systems such as HVAC and emergency lighting.
