Role responsibilities • Provides the regional perspectives to VP Outstation Services to support the identification of areas for improvements to Finance which affect the region • Manages a team of Business Services Specialists and Business Services Coordinators in the region ensuring local financial administrative tasks do not take up the time of the outstation departments. finance tasks are performed as aligned to corporate guidelines and to agreed service levels • Supports the VP Outstations in formulating and/or improving policies, checklists and templates. • Communicating and clarifying company policies and resolving Commercial and Operational admin-related cases with Finance without delay and implementing changes, where needed. • Provides guidance to HQ and Outstation Managers on company procedures relating to Finance issues. Ensures their issues are handled and fast tracked. Qualifications About you • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 6 years of job-related experience • Business support or shared services role with experience within finance. • Proven experience of driving significant change in processes to remove duplication and drive efficiency. • Excellent skills in MS Word, Excel and Power Point. • Strong analytical skills and numerical reasoning. • Excellent organizational Ability to multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines. • Self-starter and have the ability to work independently. • Ability to critically challenge submissions or policies/processes
