Project: Facility Application and Management System FAMS
Description:
The Office of Children & Family Services has decided to pursue the development of the Child Care Facility System (CCFS) FAMS is a secure webbased process to be used by applicants for authorization to operate OCFS programs. This process will allow users to complete the application process online and directly populate the system(s) of record namely CCFS.
The Office of Children & Family Services has decided to pursue the development of the Child Care Facility System (CCFS) FAMS is a secure webbased process to be used by applicants for authorization to operate OCFS programs. This process will allow users to complete the application process online and directly populate the system(s) of record namely CCFS.
Responsibilities:
- Assume the role as Lead Analyst for FAMS.
- Documenting business rules for the reengineering of the current paper process to a .Net solution.
- Designing the test plan and conducting testing of the code.
- Interact with both users and the members of the development team.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the work is done in a timely way consistent with the Project Plan.
- The Software Analyst may be asked to educate various staff on coding practices SQL queries & validations etc. Written knowledge transfer may be required as needed.
- Studies the software application domain prepares software requirements and specification documents. Liaises between the software users and the software developers. Conveys the demands of software users to the developers.
Required:
- 84 months experience writing technical/business specification .Net applications.
- 72 months experience in writing test plans & cases and performing unit & regression testing.
- 84 months experience facilitating meetings with users to identify & gather business needs business rules & security requirements.
- 24 months experience reengineering paperbased processes into web based .Net solutions.
- 48 months experience SQL coding for writing SQL data queries for extraction and/or validation of application data.
- Bachelors Degree
